這二年由於疫情使國人受困於國內無法出國，不過隨著聯準會開始升息循環、全球逐漸進入「疫後時期」，旅遊業也將開始復甦，對此銀行業者建議，此時已是可以開始逢低買進美元的時機，尤其對於退休族而言，出國旅遊往往是退休後的樂活人生中，不可或缺的重要活動，因此更可開始分批逢低買進美元，來平均分散匯率風險的同時，正好也可為自己好好存一筆出國費用。
對此銀行業者指出，就以3月17日的新台幣兌美元匯價為例，受俄烏戰爭影響，市場避險情緒升溫，使外資大舉撤出台股，在3月以來已賣超約台幣3,270億元，再加上美國聯準會已宣布升息，正式啟動升息循環，因此美元指數已自低檔反彈，並且推升匯價一下子大幅彈升至1美元兌新台幣28.6價位。
業者進而對於美元升值的其他推升力道分析，現在國際疫情趨緩，且各國隔離要求均逐漸放寬，使海外旅遊的需求上升，也成為一股推升美元匯價的新力道，因此金融圈普遍預期今年的美元兌新台幣匯價下行的空間有限，匯價若漲多拉回都是可以回補美元部位的機會。
至於回補美元的方式，銀行業者建議，不論是單作外幣存款，或是以外幣保單的方式來持有美元，均以行動銀行下單或扣款的方式來進行最佳，主要因為現在銀行對於行動銀行的數位帳戶所給的匯率減碼優惠最佳，匯率減碼以牌告利率減碼3.5分左右最為常見，這還不包括數位帳戶所給予較優惠的利息條件，因此銀行業者建議，退休族或準退休族，想趕在國內正式解封之前，先存好出國旅遊的費用，此時已可開始先「超前部署」透過行動銀行、數位帳戶來買進美元或美元保單。
